Discontinuation of Banking Services
Dear Customer,
Thank you for your business and patronage of Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank Ltd. We are grateful for the faith you placed in us. We regret to inform you that we have discontinued our banking services. However, we would like to assure you that the bank has made full and complete arrangements for the return of your deposits.
The Honorable Bombay High Court has passed an order for the winding up of the Bank and appointed Vijayakumar Iyer as the Liquidator with all powers as prescribed under the Banking Regulations Act 1949 read with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act 2013.
As per the directions in Hon’ble Bombay High Court order, the Liquidator team has deposited all the unclaimed monies of customers with Registrar of Companies (“ROC”) on July 05, 2022 and the same can be claimed from ROC by following submitting the below mentioned documents:
- A Claim Request Form along with a cancelled cheque of your Bank Account held in the same name as in the Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank.
- Notarized Deed of Indemnity on Rs. 500 Stamp paper
- Advance Stamp Receipt
- Certificate of Solvency
- Payment of fees online on website www.mca.gov.in by following instructions mentioned here
The documents along with the fee payment receipt needs to be couriered/hand delivered to the below address:

Important Instructions for the Customers
- Please send the duly filled Claim Request form along with a Cancelled Cheque & other documents mentioned above in original. Handwritten letters/ photocopy of Cancelled cheque shall not be accepted.
- In the Claim Request Form, kindly quote the mobile number linked with Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank.
- If a customer had a Payments Bank account in his/her name and also had accounts as Distributor/Merchant/Retailer linked with the same mobile number, then he/she should send a separate cheque in his/her name for claiming funds in the name of the individual and a separate cheque in the name of the Entity in which the Account was opened to claim funds.
- The cancelled cheque should clearly mention the name of the account holder / company / agency / proprietorship, submitting the claims. Cheques attached without Name of the Account holder shall not be accepted.
- In absence of cheque, a customer can send a copy of the passbook attested and stamped by the Bank or a bank statement for the last one month with customer's name, address, account number and IFSC code mentioned on it.
